Another great experience with Appliance matter in all areas of an appliance repair. We called hoping to get a same day appointment as having your refrigerator go down is a big issue. No problem as Joey was there by 12:30 PM, a half hour before the schedule appointment time. Took him all of 5 minutes to find the issue which gave him plenty of time to go out and get the part ( the fan component that moves the cold air through the Fridge) and be back to do the repair well with in the time allotted. He went out of his way to melt and clean up some ice that had
formed in the freezer due to the malfunctioned fan, which cleaned thing up nicely. By the evening the Fridge was back to the proper temperature and is working as good as it was when it was brand new. All this at a price that is soooo much better than the price of new fridges today. Not to mention the hassle of trying to find one, have it delivered and installed in a timely fashion. Would highly recommend!

I called Appliance Matters and Joey was able to repair our washer that same day. Joey did an excellent job, quickly locating and repairing the leak in the machine. Using a special dolly he was able to take the stackable dryer off the washer to complete the repair. I will definitely use Appliance Matters again!

They responded to our call for help with the dishwasher within the same day, diagnosed the problem and ordered the faulty part. We were told that the part was not in Calgary and that it had to be ordered from Ontario where it was in stock and could take several days to arrive. The part was ordered on Friday and was promptly installed on the following Monday.

Unfortunately he did not have all the parts required and because it was the long weekend (Thanksgiving) we scheduled his return to fix our dryer on Tuesday. He showed up and within an hour had the dryer up and running. Very nice and quick service

Was very impressed with Joeys workmanship

I have been trying to get my kitchen aid double oven repaired for months now. I had another company come out, they said the control panel is finished and they no longer make the circuit board. Their solution was to spend >$10,000 to simply get a new double wall oven.

I shopped online and found a refurbished control panel from another country.

When I attempted to get hold of the original company, for over 6 weeks, they completely ignored my emails / calls and I found out through another party that most big companies wont install refurbished parts.

I called Appliance Matters, after reading a Facebook post from a member in my community that was very happy with their service and how quick and reasonably priced they were.

Upon calling, they were very kind, professional and down to earth. It was clear they really wanted to help and I felt valued immediately.

They came within 24 hours and were very well priced. Joey was fantastic and really cared about doing the job right. He was super transparent throughout the installation and he even vacuumed the inside of the control board/wire area that was super dusty.

Ive never had such a great experience from any of the big companies that we have used in the past. It was so refreshing and restored my faith in appliance companies again.

Unlike a lot of other small businesses in Calgary who act like they don't want you as a customer, these guys are so on top of things I received a callback within 5 minutes of calling their main line.

The door on my portable dishwasher stopped latching. I'm a working mom with insane hours, I'd sooner box up every piece of crockery in my house and donate them to Goodwill than hand wash anything.

Fortunately for me, my issue was fixed in less than 24 hours. I called around 3ish, my technician arrived around 11 AM the next day. 5 stars based on that alone.

They also send out text messages confirming the name of your technician and window of time you can expect them to arrive. The name wasn't accurate but Micheal fixed my problem all the same. Dishwasher works better than ever in fact!

The technician, Joey, took the time to ask me several questions about the issue I was having and came the next day to complete the repair. The defrost in my Amana freezer was not working; in fact it was making ice-not in an ice maker! I appreciated that he arrived when he said he would and he was able to figure out several issues with the fridge within the first 15 min of getting it all opened up. He explained each issue separately with price quotes and answered all my questions. If there wasnt so many things wrong with my fridge I wouldve definitely had him complete the work. Instead weve elected to replace our 10 year old fridge rather than try to salvage it for a few more years. From the time my call was placed to technician Joey coming here, replacing part and gone was approximately 1 hour,15 minutes. Now thats what I call service! They were the first company I tried, but did look at reviews while waiting for him. I thought I would have to buy a new dryer, which would have cost around $1,000. He checked the fuses and fortunately only one had blown so he replaced it and advised me never to use the self clean function again as this often caused blown fuses in KitchenAid ovens, Joey was quick, knowledgeable, efficient and pleasant.

This is a way overdue review. As we were selling our house in Tuscany NW, all of a sudden, random things began to fail us at the same time! Highly recommend! Found them online - completed their online form, and received a callback within 2 hours. This was Friday afternoon, and they had availability for Saturday afternoon! joey phoned in advance, showed up when expected. He was very friendly, and very thorough. He was frank about our options, and offered assistance if we preferred to replace our dishwasher. I selected the "fix it" option, and am thrilled with the results. AND he re-installed our dishwasher better than it was initially installed 5 years ago! I didn't do any research, but their prices seem very fair, and the service is GREAT. Thanks again, joey!

Thanks joe for the fast and professional service!! The latch lock on our Bosch washer failed. This same part broke a couple of years ago and the repairman took 3 weeks to sort it out... joe came by on a Monday to look at it and returned the next day with the replacement part. Had issue with fridge re-freezing after de icing and cleaning drain plug and when tech came said common problem now has a new fix because of it original design flaw. What an awesome experience! Contacted Appliance Matters and got a reply within 5 minutes. Set up an appointment and Technician joey came to fix both my Washer and Dryer. I thought my dryer needed new parts but the guy was able to diagnose the issue as a wiring problem. Dryer works perfectly. The washer needed parts but I was able to save money instead of buying a new one! And joey is a great guy!

As a parent, we always find ourselves doing the whole weeks laundry over the weekend. Personally i prefer cleaning on saturday morning. Last week, our washer developed functional issues on saturday morning.For some reason, the washer doesn’t have any water coming in. most of the local service providers don’t work on saturdays and so you can imagine the fix i was.
